One senior team, start to finish

You talk to the people doing the work. Strategists, designers and developers sit on the same project from the first call to the week after launch.

Strategy

Before we design anything, we find out what the website has to do for your business and who it has to convince. For most clients this is the most valuable two weeks of the project.

  • Stakeholder interviews and a workshop with your leadership team
  • Customer interviews and analytics review
  • Competitor and content audit
  • Sitemap, page priorities and success metrics
Best for
Teams who disagree on what the site is for
Timeline
1–2 weeks

Brand identity

Identities designed for screens first: they hold up as a 16-pixel favicon and as a billboard, and they come with the design tokens your developers need.

  • Naming and positioning, when you need it
  • Logo, typography, colour and motion principles
  • Tone of voice guide with real before-and-after copy
  • Design tokens and a brand site instead of a PDF
Best for
New companies and brands that have outgrown their look
Timeline
3–4 weeks

Website design

We design with your real content, test with your real customers, and hand over a Figma library that matches the code component for component.

  • Wireframes tested with real customers
  • Visual design for every template, desktop and mobile
  • Interactive prototype for sign-off
  • Accessibility built in, checked to WCAG 2.2 AA
Best for
Sites that need to explain something complicated simply
Timeline
2–4 weeks

Development and care

Fast, accessible front ends on a CMS your team will actually enjoy using. Every contract includes a performance budget we're accountable for.

  • Astro, Next.js, Shopify or Webflow, chosen for your team, not ours
  • Headless CMS setup: Sanity, Storyblok or Contentful
  • Technical SEO, analytics and redirects from your old site
  • Training, documentation and a 30-day warranty
Best for
Teams who need to publish without a developer

Questions we get asked

How much does a website cost?

It depends on what you need, so we don't sell fixed packages. After a free 30-minute call we send a written proposal with a clear scope, timeline and price within two working days. You'll know the full cost before anything starts.

Who owns the website and the code?

You do. Once the final invoice is paid, all code, design files and content are yours, with no licence fees. We'll hand over the repository and every account in your name.

How long does a website take?

Most websites take 4 to 10 weeks, depending on the number of pages and whether brand identity is part of the project. The biggest factor is how quickly content and feedback come back to us, so we agree a review schedule on day one.

Which platform will you build on?

The one that suits your team. For content-heavy marketing sites we usually recommend Astro with a headless CMS. For stores, Shopify. If your marketing team wants to build pages without us, Webflow. We'll explain the trade-offs in the strategy phase.

Do you host the site?

We set up hosting on your own account with Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare or Shopify, so you're never locked in to us. Care plans cover updates, monitoring and backups.

How do payments work?

50% to start and 50% at launch. Care plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

What don't you do?

Paid ads, social media management and native mobile apps. We have trusted partners for each and are happy to introduce you.
